What are chain guides?

Chain guides, also called chain guide rails or chain roller guides, are types of specially designed protective guide rails for chains, used widely in mechanical and industrial applications to minimise the wear and tear of chains. Typically made from polyethene plastic, chain guides are known for their exceptional wear resistance, capability to reduce noise levels in metal and metal contact, and suitability for application in most conveying systems.
