Nozzles are simple devices with narrow mouths that remain connected with pipelines to deliver fluids in a systematic way. They are widely used in plumbing & pipeline operations, enabling users to efficiently transfer and apply liquids or material compounds at the necessary places accurately.
Types of nozzles
Nozzles can be broadly categorized into different types, depending on how it operates. These primarily include two types of nozzles:
Spray Nozzles: This type of nozzle breaks the fluid into different spray patterns. Depending on these spray patterns, a spray nozzle can be of five basic types, including full cone, hollow cone, flat fan, solid stream, and mist/fog.
Mixer Nozzles: Nozzles that can blend different materials into a single usable compound are called mixer nozzles. These are generally used for accurate application of the compound.
Applications of nozzles
Nozzles have a wide range of applications that encompass different industries like agriculture, chemical processing, aerospace, automotive, construction, food processing, marine, petrochemical, mining, paper, manufacturing, and so on. Some of the most common applications of nozzles include:
Cleaning industrial tanks, containers, and vessels
