What are servo products?

Servo products, or servomechanisms, refer to motor-driven systems that come with built-in feedback elements and are usually used with heavy industrial machinery, robotics and different types of electronics, power-driven equipment, and more.  

These types of motors are ideal for establishing control with precision and are used where a specific task needs to be repeated in the same manner frequently. 

Types of servo products

Servo products come in different varieties, which can be broadly categorised into the following:

DC Servo Motor

The DC servo motor has a separate DC power source and delivers faster and more precise responses to control command signals. They are widely used in computerised and numerical machines. 

AC Servo Motor

AC servo motors have a separate AC power source and come with an encoder that facilitates closed loop controls. They are usually designed with higher voltages and used in robotics, automation, and similar applications that require precision. 

Applications of servo products

Servo products are essential automation and control gear equipment and are most commonly used in robotics, computers, CD/DVD player, etc. They are used in:
