About Machine Compare
Machine Compare or Machinecompare.com is home to one of the world’s largest databases for new and used machinery across industry verticals. Founded in 2014 by brothers Eric and Ben Findlay, the growing company aims to change how the world trades industrial machinery and spare parts.
Machine Compare Marketplace
In 2021, Machine Compare added Marketplace, an e-commerce platform targeted at buying and selling new and surplus spare parts from leading manufacturers and OEMs across many industry verticals. This includes both mechanical and electrical spare parts categories. Brands listed on Marketplace include the likes of Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley, Honeywell and Bobst. Renowned industrial manufacturers like ABinBev, Nestle, DS Smith, Stora Enso and more can also be found selling their surplus stock on the site.
Machine Compare & sustainability
Circularity lies at the heart of Machine Compare’s business model. To date, Machine Compare has identified over £5B worth of unused, surplus and obsolete spare parts across industry sectors that it aims to get back into the market. And through its growing base of international buyers and sellers seeking to make more sustainable decisions and ethical profits – the company is doing precisely that.
